DIGITRAN FlexLine DTF600x5 - High-Speed DTF Printer.
The FlexLine DTF600x5 is our high-speed DTF printer that makes printing large quantities attractive. Equipped with 5 print heads, speeds of up to 50m/hour (6-pass print mode) can be achieved on a 60cm web.
For this purpose, the FlexLine DTF600x5 printer is equipped with a motorized unwinder that can take up rolls of more than 200m. A finishing unit with a 1.2m drying tunnel and conveyor belt ensures optimum drying of the prints. A special device also prevents the adhesive powder from trickling out to the sides. There is also an extraction system that not only filters the air, but also condenses most of the vapors directly. This means that the liquid can simply be drained off, which extends the service life of the filters immensely.
As with all machines in the FlexLine series, we rely on reliable components and high-quality consumables that can keep up with the speeds.
The machine is controlled via the PrintExp software in combination with the Digital Factory RIP from CADlink. This makes loading and adapting print images quick and convenient.

The DTF Printer
The digital printing machine from this Direct To Foil/Film (DTF) machine system is equipped with 5 robust EPSON i3200-A1 print heads of the latest generation. These can print in CMYK, a highly opaque white and a resolution of up to 720x2400dpi.
Even the finest elements and gradients can therefore be reproduced cleanly, even at high printing speeds.
Automatic cleaning cycles and ink circulation ensure maximum durability of the print heads.
The printing machine is also designed for a maximum print width of 600 mm and can print suitable hot-peel or cold-peel films. A motorized unwinder for rolls of more than 200m is installed for clean unwinding.
The powder machine
The FlexFinish600x5 powder unit is positioned in line with the printing machine and is responsible for finishing the transfer. A rotating shaft crushes the hot-melt powder and spreads it over the still-moist print image. The excess adhesive powder is then tapped off in a controlled manner so that no residue remains on the unprinted film. A special holder also prevents the powder from trickling directly off the film.
The image is then dried and bonded to the adhesive using efficient IR drying with 12 lamps in 2 drying zones. The drying channel is insulated to make this as energy-efficient as possible. Finally, a fan ensures that the finished printed image cools down and can be wound up as a roll without sticking.
The powder unit is controlled via a compact touch display.
Perfect color management
To ensure that you not only print beautifully, but also correctly, we create our own color profiles for our printing systems.
For each print mode supplied with the machine, corresponding test images are printed and measured. These measurements are used to calibrate the machine and create an ICC profile so that the colors in the print match the colors in the file as closely as possible.
Whether black, colored or white, we have the right colors for every substrate. You also have various other options for adapting colors to your designs. From highlight white to the omission of white, black or individual colors to the simple, manual adjustment of individual colors, everything is possible.
